Randell Pickering

Mr. Pickering has been involved in music and drama for over 50 years.  He has been an actor and director for several musicals and dramas and enjoys teaching others about acting and singing.  Mr. Pickering has served as director of Music for several churches and has enjoyed teaching choir members how to improve as a singer.

Mr. Pickering has acted in professional theatre as well as community theatre.  He has been a judge for acting competitions for adults as well as students.  

Mr. Pickering is excited to be a staff member at Pickering Conservatory for Music and Drama and wants to help adults as well as students to improve in their artistic life.

Mr. Pickering’s degreed education is a BA in communication, and an MA in counseling.  He has many years of experience in helping to develop others in areas such as leadership development, and health education.

Rachel Pickering Seeley

Rachel Pickering Seeley has been performing since she was six years old. She has nearly twenty years of piano and classical voice training and ten years experience teaching private lessons. Throughout her life she has been both on and off the stage exploring many different artistic avenues including singing, acting, musicianship skills, musical direction, and some modeling.

Her theatrical experience has been in both musical theater and opera, doing mostly community and collegiate productions as well as some professional experience. She has also led music and worship at several churches.

Ultimately, Rachel enjoys teaching budding artists and imparting them with the skills to pursue their interests with confidence. Through the support of her father, Randell Pickering, and husband, Paul Seeley, she focuses her skillset on her students.

Rachel studied vocal performance in pursuit of her Bachelor’s of Music from the University of Montevallo. She continues to study and further her education through workshops, master classes, and private lessons.
